2006 Dodge RAM 2500 Quad Cummins - very good upgrade

As others have said, with Dodge RAM you need either a ballast resistor or canbus adapters (which I have used). I didn't get them from Beamtech, I ordered some promising ones. They worked. Without them, blink a few times and walk out. So don't try without them. Then you MUST rotate them 90 degrees. At least for me they were set up and taken down as they came in. I've tried rotating them both ways and that makes a difference too. You want the front LED to be up after you flip it. You won't be perfectly right and left, the set screws aren't exactly in the right place for that, but it will be close enough. With a canbus adapter (that's how it even works) and clockwise rotation the lights are very bright, perfect cut-off, good distinction between low and high beam. I adjusted them a bit but then my lights were too high to start with. Because they're so bright, I don't want them over the road, otherwise they'll be dazzling in fog. With the cut-off line right on the road's horizon, the high beam spot is a little higher than we'd like, but there's still plenty of light in smooth driving. When properly adjusted, this is a great upgrade for a Dodge's terrible stock headlights. R.A.M. I also installed Beamtech in my Subaru Forester XT with similar results (only high beam in this case, HID low beam on my Forester). I used the black kit without the 8000lm fan but they are about the same brightness as the ones installed in this machine. There were several bugs, so this time I decided to use the single-fan model. Neither have been installed long enough to know if they would hold up over time, but in both cars the beam technology worked wonders for the amount of light that shines onto the road.
