I love this little coaster holder. The color is better than in the picture. It's a little darker and not as yellow. It goes perfectly with my dark cherry wood furniture. A dark color may appear blackish when applied to a light surface such as a B. white furniture, as the contrast becomes very clear. However, when placed on medium to dark colored furniture, it will appear a deep dark brown. The wood isn't perfect, especially on the bottom, but I don't think it ruins the overall look. However, if you are very picky about the quality of wood for furniture, then you might not like it. Overall I am very happy with this coaster holder. This makes a nice frame for decorative coasters and keeps them in place.
