I confess that I cannot guarantee the year of manufacture, the season or anything like that. I'll talk about what I have and what I know. My mug was well packaged, no stains. I like that if it's fake, it's a good fake. I compared the base of the mug to a real Starbucks mug I have and the embossing looks the same. I do not know. It's good, I love it and I love the matte black. He also tickles my hands because he is spiked 😂😂. I like it. Would recommend if you want to be pampered and can afford it.
