I was told that this is a good protection against smudging. I received it in a box that was unsealed. It didn't look new. Similar to other people's comments and pictures. I have been waiting to use it due to the Covid-19 outbreak. After spending that amount I hated just throwing it in the trash. I wiped the outside of the mascara to sanitize it. My mascara has never stung my eyes. this one does. It doesn't smear, even with professional eye powder. My problem is more that the container was unsealed and I'm wondering why the eyes are stinging. I've never had my eyes sting from mascara. ?
