This is truly pure cashmere. It's marked as such, and I can feel it when I feel it. It's very soft and I think the earthy check pattern is so classy and pretty. It is very warm and long enough to be used in a variety of ways, whether stretched lengthways or tied in one of many ways. They say it's for women, but I think it's for men too. I would definitely call this scarf unisex. I don't think it's irritating or itchy on bare skin, although I'm not sensitive to wool. It also comes in a nice gift bag or storage bag. It will be a very suitable gift or a pleasure to keep for yourself. I have received several scarves from this brand and they are all really wonderful. Featured!
