Let me start with that. This device actually produces ozone gas. But to notice it, you have to be right next to it and smell the device itself. This will definitely not produce enough ozone to "eliminate" odors in your car. You should have about 50 of these plugged in and running all the time. Even one of them left on will completely drain the car battery. On the other hand, the USB ports work fine, I'm sure of that. But don't believe it, think it will clarify anything because it's a completely false statement. You can find "real" ozone generators that run on AC power for about $100. If you really want to remove odors from your car, it's much better if you just buy one of these, plug it into your car with an extension cord, and let it run all night every now and then.
