When they arrived I was delighted with the belt which allowed me to adjust to my girth which tends to "roam". Unfortunately, I've found that the leather in the tensioning mechanism breaks when I ask the belt to do its job (holding pants on hips). If I just "tighten" it, it takes a couple of weeks before I have to redo the fit (i.e. cut the torn piece of strap and reattach it, losing about 1/3" each time. 6 months) me ran out of extra after purchasing the strap a strap that needs to be cut and i keep worrying about when it will let go.for the record i am 6ft 0.240lbs tall but not huge i think if they have real leather instead Using the cheaper reformulated material will hold it up well, or moving the clip's "prongs" further away from the end of the leather might also work. I'm too late to return them, but I certainly would case if that was an option.
