Review on 🧼 White Hoover FH54050V Dual Spin Pet Plus Upright Shampooer Carpet Cleaner Machine by Shawn Price

I just had all the carpets in my house replaced so I wanted to protect my investment with a carpet cleaner. I also have a dog and kids and accidents happen so I want to be prepared for the worst. I already had Hoover portable carpet cleaners, so I decided to try this one. The building process was a bit confusing. The included instructions show you how to install the vertical handle and fill the tank, then proceed directly to cleaning. There are no instructions or pictures on what to do with the hose or jets. There is a strap with a hook which I think is meant to hold the hose when not in use. Also, there are no attachment points on the machine to attach the nozzle to the end of the hose. I managed to hook an extra brush into the hook and then hang everything on the vertical handle, but I have no idea if that's how it's supposed to be. All the pictures on the product page don't even show the hose or nozzles. It comes with a nice silicone storage mat in case you're worried about a leak or something. Once assembled, it is quite easy to use. Fill the fresh water tank with (you guessed it) clean water, a small shampoo container is included, then race. Vertical mode works well when working with a large area. I've started using it in high traffic areas of the carpet and dirt rises up nicely. If you've spilled water, been in an accident with a pet, or have stubborn spots, consider ripping out the hose and nozzles. There is a rubberized brush as well as a more traditional bristle brush, but I found the rubberized brush worked better. It's fairly easy to spray, brush and then vacuum the affected area. There is no rotating brush for this, so you just have to do all the work yourself. The vacuum recommends pre-treating the stubborn spot, but I'm not sure whether to use a concentrated cleaner straight away or dilute it first. For the price I might wish for a rotating brush to help remove stains. Instructions are also missing, but once you get them together it won't be a big problem.
