Review on Nokia 3310 Dual Sim (2017), dark blue by Gagaan Pahal ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

I took the blue one in March 2022. It looks fine, I switched to this device from the Nokia 1680 c-2, it is wider in comparison with it, but thinner, perhaps due to the fact that at first it was unusual to hold it in my hand, it fell out of my hands. Contacts. Just a name and a number, and that's in 2022. Even in my old Nokia, you can also use e-mail. mail, and organization, and several numbers indicating the type (home, mobile, work) to add. I didn’t discharge it to zero, I don’t know how the device behaves. On the old Nokia, if the battery was completely dead and the phone turned off, you could turn it on, dial a number and talk for a few seconds. I don't know how here. I'm pretty careful with technology, but this particular phone flew out of my hands twice, the first time it fell twice by 1.5 meters, the second time it flew from a height of 2.5 meters, and in the same place on a concrete surface. The case shattered, the battery and the back cover flew out. Working! The case is scratched, the screen is not. I don't know where to get a replacement case. February 2022. The battery is swollen and does not hold a charge. Replaced with a new one (around 500r). I already thought this problem was solved, I have a tablet with an 8-year-old lithium-polymer battery and the capacity is still saved (20-30% mb lost). And here, when you call, the phone is cut down, you turn it on, let it rest, the charge indicator rises to 60% and you can send a text message. Enough of such a battery, God forbid, for a day less than an hour of talk in comparison with a new one.

Pros
  • I compare with the ancient Nokia 1680 c-2. Appearance. Long operating time, more than 4 days on 1 charge. microUSB connector. microSD slot. 2 slots for sim card. Indestructibility - confirmed. The sound is clearer compared to the old Nokia. Vibration when a person picks up the phone is a handy thing.
Cons
  • Contacts app - you can only add a name and one single number! Your ringtones and wallpapers - only with microSD. Without microSD, it does not even allow a picture to be downloaded to memory, although there is enough free internal memory. As far as I know, there are no firmwares today, that is, they are unlikely to finish the Contacts application and so on. In the old Noka, you could check email. mail directly in the messages, here - no. In principle, not a particularly important function. There are no contact groups and you can't set your own ringtone for each group. Not a particularly important feature, but it wouldn't hurt.
