Review on πŸ‘š Girls' Under Armour ColdGear Novelty Long Sleeve T-Shirt by Jennifer Holt

Revainrating 3 out of 5

New Under Armor jersey from ColdGear for girls in a mixed set

I recently purchased a new Under Armor girls ColdGear Novelty long sleeve t-shirt for my daughter who is a youth size X-Small. While there are certainly positive aspects to this shirt, I was a bit disappointed overall. Good things first: ColdGear technology keeps kids really warm in cold weather. My daughter wore this shirt on a recent hike in 40 degree weather and never once complained about the cold. The fabric is also soft and comfortable to the touch, so there was no itching or irritation. However, there were a few issues that prevented me from giving this shirt a higher rating. First, the landing was quite uncomfortable. The size of the X-Small was big enough for my thin and petite daughter, but the fit of the shirt wasn't quite right. The sleeves were almost too long, and the body of the shirt was oddly boxy and loose. He just didn't hug her body the way we expected. Another problem was the design. While the black and white color scheme is good enough, the "new" tag feels imprecise. There was nothing particularly unique or special about this shirt - it just looked like a regular long sleeve t-shirt with the Under Armor logo on it. We were hoping for a little more fun or creativity. Overall, I give the Under Armor Girls' ColdGear Novelty Long Sleeve T-Shirt a solid three stars. While my daughter was warm and comfortable to wear, the fit and design left a lot to be desired. If you're looking for a simple, practical shirt to keep your child warm, this could be a good option. But if you're looking for something more stylish or unique, you should look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Fits as expected, very comfortable and warm even on cold ski days.
Cons
  • The girls Under Armor ColdGear Novelty Longsleeve is only available in black and white, which may not appeal to some girls who prefer a larger color palette.
