On the advice of my husband I bought two sets of these corner shelves for my motorhome. They are well made and durable. I bought bronze shelves. The problems I encountered are the adhesive strips and attaching the shelves to the adhesive strips. Sure, the adhesive strips are strong and stick like crazy, but they're very visible and once lifted, it's very, very difficult to attach the shelf to the strip without ripping the strip off the wall and closing the wall afterwards to damage. Adhesive strips "hardened". I tried using the command line hooks instead, but they fell off the wall within 12 hours. (After letting them "cure" for 24 hours) I think the shelves are too heavy. In any case, this installation was going to take place in a caravan bathroom, so I was afraid to put anything on the fragile wallpapered walls. You may have better luck installing them in your sticks and bricks house. I will find another use for these shelves.
