The socket on this mount will NOT work with a Garmin MFG Ball. Base.

I am very upset and disappointed. This BRACKET fits my Garmin Nuvi 1390 BUT. THE OUTLET IS TOO SMALL to get a BALL on my Garmin mfg. Plain bearing https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0035JL4V2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Now I have both the mount and the bracket but they don't work together.
