My fiancé and I are getting married abroad in spring. He mentioned to me that he doesn't want me to wear an engagement ring when we're doing paperwork/planning a wedding/planning a vacation a few weeks ago. So I went to Amazon to find a good alternative to my engagement ring at a great price. I was quite skeptical but have ordered several different rings that are similar in shape/size/style. I kept this one for several reasons: 1- it fits well (I ordered 6 although I usually wear a 5.5 and it fits great so not sure if it runs a bit small or if my fingers are swollen) 2- it didn't look horribly fake (to be honest I rock almost 3k) 3- it was silver vs alternative metal 4- it was first class shipping (he told me that 5 days before we left so I was in a dilemma) After wearing it for a week and a half (I wore it a few days before I left) I noticed so many things. First, no one knew it wasn't my engagement ring. my fiancé didn't even notice that I was wearing a different ring (hmmm, should he have just spent the money on a cheap ring and not my real one?), secondly, the compliments were non-stop! I told a couple of people it was fake after they complimented me and they were like oh my god I had no idea! It looks so real." And thirdly, I've even worn it during 6 hours of fishing all over the Emerald Isle.
