I like the touch so far and it hasn't "switched off" or given incorrect results. Exactly what my scan tools say about RPM. It is very smooth to drive a stepper motor. tach It's been on my 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis for about 8 months now. Very easy to connect. I had to use a speedo adapter to achieve this. This is a great product, ignore the bad reviews. People just don't know how to read instructions.
