These socks are very good! They are thinner than regular socks and I envision wearing them with casual/dress shoes or boots rather than sneakers, although personally I prefer softer socks. The cotton feels like a very tight knot and they feel very very comfortable and I feel like they can hold up well. And you probably already know, the "presentation" is great! My problem is that for my height 12ft I ordered a size '10.5 to 13'. and they were too big! The heel was above the ankle otherwise there was too much fabric hanging (per inch?) from the toes. I had the opportunity to try on another pair of socks from the same company with a different size chart but they were also quite good but too long. However, since almost all other reviewers said the fit is "true to size", this may only be an issue for the relatively rare largest size. However, I also want to thank Vero Monte for trying to fill that void with cute socks for women with big feet! Anyway I returned them and Vero Monte did a great job with customer service and worked proactively to make sure I was happy.
