DVR USB port stopped working after a week

I bought this unit to use the smaller USB cable that goes from the DVR port directly to the DVR on the window. In addition, the ability to charge the phone from a different port makes it convenient. I give it 2 stars because after 1 week it completely stopped charging my dash cam. The other port still charges my phone well.
