I hate to give negative feedback, but in this case I have to. The original strap came very, very hard. The edges were so hard and sharp they cut my fingers. Even wearing multiple layers of clothing was very uncomfortable. I tried to soften by massaging, bending, kneeling, twisting but to no avail. I believe the belt must have been stored in a hot environment causing it to age and burr. I complained to Revain and they quickly sent a replacement along with supplies to return the original strap. The second strap was just as hard as the original one. I can't believe this belt left the factory in this condition and must be very old or possibly heat aged. I decided to do nothing.
