but overall it's disappointing for my purposes

I bought it to track my swim training. I swam in college about 15 years ago and now I swim for practice. The product has some benefits, but overall it's disappointing for my purposes. While it's able to accurately track all footage, it has too many downsides to be useful for people who take swimming more seriously than just swimming. Pros: - Battery life is pretty good - Tape is handy - App is easy to use - Accurately tracks all footage. Bad (for swimmers): - Often identifies freestyle as a butterfly - Does not track kicks - Tracks hard to detect when rest interval is less than 10 seconds. For example, a 10x100 set with less than 10 seconds of rest per 100 is displayed as a 1000 meter swim. App stats are useless. For example, there is no average 100 meter pace for an actual swim in yards. The average value per 100 people includes rest.

  • Confident
Cons
