Review on πŸ”Ά Safavieh Amelia Tufted Storage Ottoman in Elegant Gold - Practical and Stylish Solution by Lexi Mastandrea

Perfect with a touch of Funk

I love and hate this ottoman at the same time. I just received the ottoman yesterday so I've only been using it for about 24 hours. This is absolutely perfect for my needs; with a tiny problem (see cons below). This ottoman replaces one that was just over twice the size. Unfortunately it was outdated so the fabric was falling apart; but it was also too big for my apartment and damn heavy. Pros: - It's purple. This is not a primary violet, but rather a deeper violet. It's big enough that my legs are actually elevated, which is incredible. - Storage! Perfect.Con: - Pillow top is hard. I can't imagine sitting on it, which I wouldn't do anyway, but my legs and feet don't like being hard. He doesn't move easily. Now here's the thing. I suspect and know that the cons can easily be corrected. I put a pillow on the softness. Not only does this help solve the hard/soft problem, it lifts my legs even more. So"against"-it's not a problem. The relocation issue is a problem, but I suspect there's a relatively simple fix. There are small metal pads on the soles of the legs that make gliding easier; but they don't - it might be because my gender is a real issue. I will update my review if/when I find a solution.
