I bought these to use as a hay rack for my guinea pigs. Set up was very easy and straightforward. I made a few modifications to meet my needs as shown in the images below. The only problem I have is that the holes are too big and one of my guinea pigs got stuck in one of them. I had to cut some of the plastic to get it out. Needless to say it was a horrible experience. So I set up the dispenser by cutting some plastic off it, gluing shelf wrap to the bottom and inserting cut out cardboard at the open end to make sure they don't pop in. I glued cardboard to the cover. at the back to keep the hay from falling out and secured the dispenser to the cage with zip ties. You can see the photos to see what I mean. All in all a very good product, but the buyer has to be careful if you want to use it on guinea pigs.
