I have a black 2.2 inch heel. I usually wear a US size 7.5 medium width. I chose 7.5 and they fit well. I'm glad I didn't listen to the seller's description who suggested you buy half a size larger. If I did, they would be too big. Even 7.5 doesn't give me the fit I was looking for. When I buy dance shoes I usually like very tight shoes because they stretch. Loose dance shoes can lead to injuries, especially for people like me who tend to twist ankles. I could have gone with a size 7 but I was afraid they would be too small. I'm very happy with 7.5. You are exactly right. When they start to stretch I add some padding in the front. The straps around the toes are in the right places. They hold your feet in place without pinching or making your smallest toes stick out (you know what I mean if you've ever had this problem. There's a small bump on my left foot. They also tie it, with that that wasn't hurt.The sole is comfortable memory foam, flexible for latin dancing.Lightweight and comfortable to wear for long hours.The only complaint I have is that the ankle straps are too long..Of course I can trim them but I'll either have to sew the end or maybe glue the end to keep it from fraying When I take it to the store it will cost me more than a pair of shoes I guess I'll just use some glue Fit Note that they are for indoor dance floors only. The soles are suede. They can easily become damaged if you wear them outdoors. The included heel covers protect the dance floor rather than your heels. Yes, you want and use you , because dance floors are expensive. The studios won't let you in without these heel pads. Overall great quality dance shoes for the price and this particular design never goes out of style.
