I got this clip because I was so tired of removing stains from clothes. Today's blended fabrics are great for a few things, but they're almost impossible to clean if they spill olive oil, coffee or whatever, especially if you can't wash them right away. I just don't care that people find it funny because I just don't want to spend any more time processing and soaking blouses or handing out the only top I have that goes with a particular skirt. This clamp is a very functional solution to this problem. Pros: * Adjustable * Compact (fits easily in a purse) * Can be used with restaurant-supplied napkins. Cons: *Just one: I'm not sure if this is a scam but some paper napkins are so flimsy. they simply detach from the clip with the slightest movement. Solution: Keep a strong cloth napkin in your car or in your bag if you know you're going to a restaurant that sells cheap, flimsy napkins. Manufacturer's Tip: Try selling a waterproof, clear "napkin" with pads that can be used with a clip. .
