These gel ear seals are the perfect complement to the HS-1A headset. This makes the HS-1A as comfortable as its more expensive competitors and a 1000% (yes, a thousand percent!) improvement in comfort over the rigid foam gaskets that come standard on the HS-1a. Reason for not getting a 5 star rating. These things are a serious headache to get hold of the headset. It takes quite a bit of stretching, pulling, and muscle strength to properly seat them on the ear cushions. Sometimes I was afraid that I was wearing a thin piece of plastic?/rubber? which fits over the lip that holds the ear seal to the ear cups. But I have to agree with them. They held up, didn't break, and now fit my HS-1A perfectly.
