Goes perfectly with some mods when used on a phone case

I bought this because I have young children and I mainly use my phone to take pictures of them. Every parent knows that you need your hands free in the blink of an eye. My wife makes fun of me because she thinks it's stupid, but I still rock. With cell phones over $1,500, I really didn't want to lose or drop them, especially on a boat. When kids insist on using my phone to take a picture, it also helps to have it around my neck. The leash is well made and very comfortable. Long enough to be worn on the front, side or under a jacket. When I first received this item I was disappointed with the anchor wires as they were too thick to work with my phone case. After a little research I found out that this is version 4. It seems that previous versions tended to break after wear depending on what they were attached to. Some metal anchor points on cameras can be rough and sharp and after a period of rubbing they will fail. I emailed their support and found that previous V3 versions were thinner so I bought a kit from them and they work great. It doesn't stick out when I put the phone in the case and feels secure. Keep in mind I'm using a silicone/rubber case. I couldn't be happier and this would be my journey into the future. I also bought an extra phone case. In everyday life I used a case without an anchor and, if necessary, simply replaced the case. It was a lot easier than removing the anchors every time. I didn't like dangling anchors unless I was using a line. There are other brands of laces and leashes but I felt more confident with this one. The beauty of this is that now that I have a lot of anchors I can use them for almost anything.

The best camera strap I've ever used. Pricey, but worth it.
