When I bought these earphones I knew they couldn't compare to earphones twenty times more expensive. I'm a teacher at Title I High School and my students are required to use interactive error correction software. To fully engage in the classroom, they must listen. I bought headphones, but the students prefer headphones. Since they only cost $0.65 each, I decided to give them a try. Students reported that for some couples, even initially, the sound only came through one earphone. Most reported that they stopped working after about a week of use. However, there are students who have been careful with their gifted headphones and are still using them weeks later. The main benefit of purchasing these headphones was that my students were thrilled to receive them. I have about 100 students and this was the cheapest way to give each student headphones. They also liked that they could choose a color. On purchase considering that headphones are definitely often lost or damaged in class, given the price I paid this is still good value. Like pencils, paper, and dry-erase markers, they're another supply I often need to refill, and they're an affordable choice.
