, I broke my hard plastic sewing case and replaced it with a sewing bag. There are no tight-fitting compartments in the sewing bag, so that small things don't fall out and, above all, sharp things don't get stuck when you reach into the bag. These plastic containers were the perfect solution. The box is the perfect size to fit in the pockets of my sewing bag. I have safety pins in one, needles in another, and even small spools of thread in one. It helps me keep all my little things in order and not fall out of my bag. The cases close well and seem to stand up to frequent use.
