Kid's boots are expensive but worth it. My personal opinion is that boots can be made a little larger than tennis shoes for support. I always take my kid's exact tennis shoes, but with these shoes I got them a little bigger than usual and my son put them to the ultimate test over 6 months on the ranch. I really liked them and bought the same boots twice as he got bigger. They eventually frayed at the toe, but the overall shape of the boot has been perfectly preserved.
