They are double-pin, so it doesn't matter how you use them. You will work. They are slightly longer than traditional T15 bulbs. So if your existing lightbulb fits snugly, they may not fit. I placed two of these on the back of my truck's cab, in a light above the cargo area, and they fit in nicely. However, two lights in the cab for the driver and front passenger: they were narrow because they are longer. At 14V the current draw is 310mA which is about 4.3W so the product description is pretty accurate. They are cool white and very bright. Very happy with them. I basically swapped out the standard bulbs so I can work late without worrying about battery drain. When I turn on the light, 5 bulbs light up, each with 16 W. It's 80 watts! or 6-7A. Almost as much as headlights! With these little guys (I only have 4 of them, I need another one) the power consumption is 21 watts, so almost 4 times less. Only time will tell how long they last.
