Review on 📻 Metra 99-8104: Superior Dash Install Kit for Toyota 1984–2004 – Single/Double DIN Radio by John Banks

I bought a Metra kit for a 2DIN Pioneer AVH-1550NEX to be used in a 1997 3rd Gen 4Runner. You'll need to cut off a few tabs, I used a dremmel to make them flush. After all was said and done, the block fit but was about 1/4" in. It works but my concern was that it wasn't flush. I tried other hole patterns and even some other clips but nothing worked .I installed the unit for about a week it bothered me too much and I ended up buying standard aluminum brackets for about the same price and it solved my problem.This kit will probably work with most single dins and some other double din work, but for Pioneer double din do a little research before buying.
