I really liked how this product worked. I have detailed my car which had dog hair in it for about 8 years. I tried about 3 different devices to remove dog hair and this was the cheapest and worked the best. Second best was the pumice cleaner. The pumice turned out surprisingly better than I thought it would. The rubber blade device was the least effective, but it worked well in tight spaces, although the rubber blade would not work. The handle makes cleaning large areas of carpet easier. One thing I would like to point out is that it is a good idea to vacuum the brush after you have used it to clean the area, otherwise you may transfer a few hairs to clean areas of the carpet. Don't worry about the brush picking it up either. hair in one area. He loosens many of the hairs he doesn't move and lifts them onto the surface of the carpet for easy vacuuming. As one of the commenters mentioned, it is bolted to the handle. So you can unscrew it for use in hard-to-reach places. Or you can screw it to a strip of plywood for those tight spots where a long handle would be.
