Review on 🎬 Immerse Yourself with Klipsch Cinema 600 - High-Octane 5.1 Sound Bar Surround Sound System featuring Discrete Surround 3 Speakers by Jessie Vrbensky

Revainrating 5 out of 5

All in all a really good wireless soundbar.

I was excited to upgrade my ten year old 3.1 soundbar with wireless return channels. The rear channel speakers add the necessary amount of high frequencies to the sound and also complete the presence effect. The system is good enough to demonstrate the limited accuracy of most DVD, streaming and cable audio. I had to go to the Loreena McKennitt CD to really comment on how good it is. I don't like rattling windows, but the performance seems quite capable of making neighbors complain. At my age (78) I'm not sure about the quality of my hearing so I can't judge the final fidelity. I looked it up on a testing website and the frequency response graph was much better lengthwise than most of the competition, although there were a couple of bumps in the middle that I wouldn't have seen the same way. I'm not sure if I can hear them. Most of the soundbar systems I reviewed had the "better than TV speakers" low bar, but this system took a beating on overall accuracy. I really like how accurate the system is at low levels: the highs and lows hang right there! Here are a few caveats. My system arrived with all speakers at maximum volume. You might want to figure out how to turn it off before plugging in your audio source. The system couldn't be easier to set up once you know what to connect. The biggest challenge was figuring out which power cable goes with which box. After turning it on, everything worked without further intervention. The documentation that comes with the system is beyond pathetic apart from the basic connection. Klipsch has decent documentation online if that's what you're looking for. This was very helpful as the system uses colored lights to control settings and mysterious buttons on the remote. I had to add an HDMI switch to my TV as I have four devices. This also worked as expected. Two months later. I think it makes sense to reset the settings every time you turn on the device and it makes me more knowledgeable. Boosting the rear channels really cleans up the high frequencies. The slight bass boost seems to fill out some of the mids. Once I set it up I'm pretty happy, although my remote remains finicky. He likes to bounce when I squeeze hard, which is really confusing. It's also easy to press the volume button and skip mute. In general, my remote seems to have a slightly upward tilted beam pattern, and the detector doesn't detect when the remote is more than 15 degrees right of center. I'm just starting to feel confident at fifteen feet.
