I was a bit worried it might either not hold my material (1000d Cordura) or stick my needle together. Both concerns were unfounded. It's a little tricky to remove the backing after it's attached to the material. I found that if I folded one end, the backing paper would rip off just enough to peel off instantly. This works for 1000d Cordura which is pretty stiff. I use this to fold the edges to make gear bag straps as the fabric is too stiff to be sewn "face to face" and then turned inside out (I have a few lost parts from this effort). I use small plastic clips to hold everything in place before sewing. When they run out I plan to buy more.
