Review on πŸ”‘ BESTHA 2 Keyless Entry Remote Key Fob Transmitter for Chrysler 300/Dodge Charger Challenger Magnum - Ignition Key Included - M3N5WY783X Replacement by Melvin Goerge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well and looks as good as the original

As the car the two FOBs are used with is a 2010 Chrysler 300 they had to be programmed by either the dealer or a locksmith. Programming is not available for 2010 and later models as per the product description on the Revain website and other websites I have checked. new keys from the supplied blanks ($20 each for programming and $5 each for cutting new keys). I arranged a time to bring the car and FOB to his shop and he programmed them both and cut/fabricated both key blanks in about 20 minutes. He was also kind enough to make sure the two old OEM FOBs still work (the car will start and the buttons that still work will still work). Note. The local dealer quoted me a purchase price of between US$240 and US$310 per FOB. , programming and production of a new key (the specific price in the range just indicated depends on the specific vehicle model). If I/we were at the dealer my mom would need about $480-$620 for two FOBs. Since she has a steady income, trying to buy two new FOBs from the dealer was impractical. Buying one of these will cost you a significant amount of money. and having the keys made by a local locksmith made a potential purchase/financial drain a very convenient and valuable purchase! My mom was so happy she gave him an extra $10. By the way, if you happen to find a local locksmith that can save you as much as our mother did, you can also give him/her some additional advice because it will save you a lot of money compared to what the dealer could. charged you. Thank you to the manufacturer and seller for providing this product at a fair price and to all the local locksmiths who try to help people by charging a fair/actual price for their services. that is much appreciated!
