Review on Lane Home Furnishings 7607 41 Chairside by Jen Johnson

I liked the look of this table but it was obviously made very quickly with minimal Quality Control (QC). There was a large smudge of putty on one of the legs and it was pretty obvious it was an ugly repair. Never had to pass QC. The table arrived with a broken drawer front. The packaging protects everything except this area. I'm willing to give Lane a second try, so I've ordered a replacement. Please note that this table is NOT made of solid wood, some parts are made of chipboard, for example the drawer broke off because the screws were not held in the chipboard. The finish of the box would have held up if it was made out of real solid wood. Although Lane claims to be an American company, this item is made in Vietnam. Returning Revain was easy but I'm not sure what the person would have done if they hadn't taken care of the box and packing materials. It's a bit like putting a puzzle together. UPDATED 11th November 2021: Replacement item received in good condition however the matching coffee table was broken on arrival. I don't play this game anymore so I sent everything back.
