I liked that the shorts were not too long so they could be worn with a tankini swimsuit. I've gotten to the point where I'd rather cover my swimsuit and these shorts are the perfect compromise between the typical small bottoms and full skirts. You can order and mix different colors, I ordered my normal size and it fits perfectly. They stretch a little and stay in place even in the water.
