My son will be 3 in a few days so I ordered a size 3. He weighs 31 pounds. My son is a very average height, usually 40% for the doctor's height and weight measurements. Everything came up, only the sleeves are short at the top. Probably half an inch above the wrist. It doesn't sound like much, but it's noticeable in a small man. The material is a bit thin. It's not very cozy outside, but not uncomfortable. It is lined with a different soft material so I wasn't worried about my son's comfort. Personally I would order again but I would take a size up.
