Cats love it, just wish it didn't have carrageenan

Let me start by saying that I've never been more obsessed with my consumption preferences than with cat food. I'm always looking for affordable, low carb wet cat food with quality ingredients. but most importantly, my cats are eating (and feeling good). When I decided to switch my cats to wet food, I initially fed them Evo 95% cat and kitten food. They loved it and it worked great but for some reason one of my kittens has diarrhea. Then I switched to Wellness Core which they did really well too but WOW. Price. I couldn't handle it. I ended up buying a Halo Spot Pie and they loved it. They were also fine - hard stools, shiny coats and fullness after eating (no cravings!). I've been feeding them for months and they felt good, but the downside that bothered me was the fact that it wasn't available in 13 oz cans and therefore a bit pricey. So when I found Innova canned food I tried to switch. My cats weren't thrilled with it but they eventually ate it and I bought a box to keep trying to feed them. Until I noticed that one of my cats was losing facial hair (!) which is a common sign of a food allergy. In a nutshell. we are back with spot's godfather and the kittens are happier and they all have their fur. Looks like we'll stick with it. The only downside is that I wish it had fewer veggies (cats! don't! veggies!) and I wish they hadn't used carrageenan. I can still try switching to a carrageenan-free diet (before my obsessive self eventually switches to an all-raw diet).
