Review on Beatrice Home Fashions Medallion Bedspread Bedding by Prince Aguirre

Revainrating 5 out of 5

As good as you hope!

I had to write this review because I rely heavily on the reviews of others. However, I would like to start by saying that I have just received my chenille bedspread and I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. I grinned broadly when I opened the box because while I was a little nervous about ordering based on the feedback regarding the size and thickness (or thinness), I knew right away that I had made the right decision. a true vintage blanket - just like the Grammys. I was a little concerned because it looks swollen in the picture. It's not like this. (2) It's thin but not cheap. You can see just as much through the undecorated pieces as you can through unlined white linen pants. If there isn't a leopard print thong underneath, that's fine. (Ladies, you know what I'm talking about.) One of the photos shows my hand under the covers so you can see for yourself. (3) I love fringes! The picture gives the impression that a separate part is sewn on. That's not the case. The fringes are a continuation of the bedspread as it should be. (4) Here I will explain the size in detail. The reverse of the king claims to be 118x120. I didn't measure it; However, if you look at my photos you can see if this will work for you. I have a Saatva king bed (76" x 80") with a 14.5" mattress and an 8.75" base. Along with the frame being 8 inches off the floor, my bed is about 33+ inches tall. (I know it's higher than the math will say, but it is what it is.) You can see in my photos that the king comforter touches the bed frame. Since I haven't found a bigger spread, I'm fine with that. I will order a skirt. never mind (5) sham. Again, as you can see from my photos, you don't need overlays. If you lay the duvet evenly on the bed so that it touches the frame in the same place all the way around, you'll have more than enough to cover the pillows. Of course, if you want to use them as decorative accents, do so. (6) Stack. I don't know what some of the others have in mind, but that doesn't sound very vague. Removed, installed, no problem. After washing, a lot of lint can remain in the dryer. Just take a look. I wanted to wear it first so I could take a picture and help others choose as my search for a good cheap bedspread took over 3 weeks. I hope that was helpful. I can't imagine anyone being dissatisfied with this beautiful blanket.
