These gloves look great and are perfect for a Gatsby party. I have small hands and they have held their shape but have good stretch and are easy to wear in medium to large sizes. But beware. After wearing them for over 4 hours, I took them off and found that my fingers, especially my nails, were stained slightly black! I didn't panic because I thought it would wash away. It's not like this! Only part of the paint came off my skin, but the stain stayed. My manicured nails are another matter. It just didn't wash off, it wore out. You may want to clean up your manicure afterwards, or start with dark nail polish, or just not wear it for very long. I would wash them before use (as I always do with most materials before wearing them for the first time) but they were cheap and bought for a costume party so I didn't know what shape they would be in after washing would. my usual routine! If anything, they were fun for that purpose. It is recommended to slowly soak and wash in warm water and air dry before wearing, as this can remove residual paint.
