The main reason I chose this option was that it is magnetised to mount my phone in my car which is a problem when using the card on my mobile . Also, I've used pop sockets in the past and I was hoping that the adhesive holding the ring to the phone could be reused to reposition the ring as it can be tricky to line it up correctly the first time to bring to the right place. The extra adhesives that come with it are terrible, but I've found that using a small amount of command strips works great. Aside from those few complaints, I really prefer this over pop sockets.
