Me was hoping apricot wasn't quite as pictured (one review said it was closer to a warm tan). But the color on Revain (at least by my computer) is really, really apricot. I think the paint on this wallet will "wear off". The paint looks a bit thin in some places. The wallet holds ALL my credit, ID, and various membership cards. Cards are far easier to remove than any wallet I've ever had (typically difficult to remove). The pen holder is too small for my favorite pen (it's very difficult to get in, so I won't be using it), but my pen (it's not particularly big) also makes it too difficult to keep the wallet closed. As with other reviews about the ID window - it's not sewn, ID slides in easily. I've been looking for something that will allow me to use my checkbook and check in (it seems like a rare thing these days) and it works, but the checks have to be fully in the slot. If you just put the back in the check book holder, it won't close properly. But it works for me too - don't write a lot of checks - but I like to have them with me just in case. I don't know about real leather, but it's soft. Overall I am very happy with this wallet and think it is worth its modest price.
