I used to order a 15 lb blanket but it was too heavy for me. I sent it back. Now I slept fine with it, but the problem was that it was too heavy to turn and fold. I think I will lose weight because the sleep I got with the weighted blanket was excellent, calm and full. I didn't get up until morning. This 10lb is PERFECT for me. These are kids, but I'm short and that works for me. I'm 4'11". I probably haven't slept that well in my entire life. Not too heavy, but enough to make me feel "embraced" instead of suffocated.
