So I planned it as an amp for my desk, the small form factor is great! However, when turned on, a screeching sound was heard from the center and surround outputs. and the subwoofer outputs were perfect. I did some research on what could be causing this, did a little testing by changing the power supply, cables, inputs and even the outlets it was plugged into and nothing changed. gritty response to touch when you rotate them. You could hear that too, as if the sandpaper was rubbing against a switch inside. Not sure if this is intentional? I don't think they would have been that way on purpose as the 2 buttons on the front did not rotate and were perfectly smooth when rotated. Can't say I'm surprised that an amp in this price range has these issues, but rather disappointed. I will look for another one that suits my needs.
