I bought this specifically to transfer pictures from my Canon Rebel Xti to my computer. The description said the USB cable would be compatible and I was disappointed to learn it wasn't. I was doubly disappointed because just in time for Christmas I was sending this camera to my son from abroad and trying to find a suitable cable. I ended up finding a used cable at home and sent him a Christmas package. It's frustrating when companies pitch customers with products that don't actually work. Don't waste your money or time.
