This elephant is way better than I expected! Pros: It's well packaged, the elephant fur is very soft, the toy is very well made and seems safe enough for kids, it's a little bigger than I expected, and there's a variety of sounds and tunes to play. . The face of the big-eared elephant is especially cute! There are 3 buttons on the body of the toy. All 3 make sounds or music and one of them lights up. Cons: Batteries not included, access to the battery compartment is only possible with a thin Phillips screwdriver. I have a lot of tools at home and it still took me a while to find a screwdriver that was thin enough to fit the 3/4" deep channel that the screw is in. It's just poor design. The audio volume is also a bit loud and some tunes play continuously.The only way to stop the music is to turn off the toy or press one of the other two buttons, which a six-month-old can't do.And finally, one more thing a personal annoyance, the english on the packaging is just plain bad. some of them don't make any sense at all. i don't understand why manufacturers in china don't hire people who speak proper english to do their translations. to be honest, English is so bad that this subject will hardly exist!However I give the toy 5 stars because it is adorable,good quality and reasonable price.All however I would not suggest this as a gift for someone who is likely to read the packaging.
