The fabric is a little stiff and scratches a bit with washing but moderately thick. Size XL fits me quite well with my weight of 168lbs 5ft 5in. The neckline is quite large but not big enough to gape. The length is just below the knee for me. I chose navy blue with an animal print because I wanted something darker that wouldn't open up too much if I had to open a door or something. Elbows After washing in warm water it has shrunk to length - now 2-3 inches above the knees and the sleeves reach to the wrists instead of the ankles and remain tucked in above the elbows. Softer and less harsh after washing. There is a 100% cotton label in the side seam.
