First off these lights are bright enough at night to illuminate my 8ft truck bed which is fully enclosed so I consider it a success. Minor issues to be aware of: Don't rely on duct tape to keep the light on. Duct tape helps with initial placement, but once you're happy with their placement, screw them into place. Also, the included screws are NOT self-tapping screws. Pre-drill the pilot holes and make them large as the threads on the screws strip very easily. My set didn't have a screw so I grabbed a few extras from my collection which helped when I mixed up the first 2 when trying to find the right size bit. Next, there was no installation guide, so I had to do the math to figure out the fuse size. . I'm fine with 3A you need to provide as it's not included. If you don't have an empty slot in the fuse box, I recommend adding an inline fuse right after the hot plug. You'll also need a 10-20 foot cable to bring the power back from your source to the lights (18 gauge should be sufficient). And you'll probably want to choose a source that's not in the ignition circuit so you can light the bed without a key in the ignition. I also connected them up prior to installation to determine if they are in series or parallel so I know where and how to ground them. They are parallel, which simplifies the work. Finally, the Switch requires some fabrication if you want a clean install. The ports are completely open and there is no way to mount the device without adding a mounting plate or cutting a rectangular hole in the cargo bed. Mine is still hanging by the wires until I find a good fix. I can replace it entirely. Hope this helps the next guy. Yes, I would buy them again.
