I bought one of these because my brother owned it for months and loved it. I only had mine a week before buying a second one for my son. The principle is very simple and is based on two simple principles. First, it's made of nylon, not leather. Not only does this eliminate a large amount of thickness, but being more flexible than leather means you don't have to leave as much room for the pockets to hold multiple cards. Second, it's arranged in a pattern where four card slots continue the length of the wallet. My previous wallet, which worked but was very bulky, had two sides, each with a row of overlapping card slots. The overlapping slotted cards made the whole pack very thick, and once you put everything inside, the wallet was difficult to close. This one completely solves that problem by handing out cards, allowing you to carry lots of cards around without becoming an awkward fat man. Between my driver's license, credit and debit cards, professional IDs and licenses, loyalty cards, museum membership cards, gym card, etc. is thick. I've never had the card loss problem that some people are talking about, so I can't fix it. I wonder if it depends on how many cards you have? With as many cards as I carry, while the cards are easy to remove, there is more than enough friction to keep them from falling out on their own.
