Review on Cosco 14678BLK1 Deluxe Folding Rectangle by Ginger Peterson

Cheap desktop for me to abuse

I wanted a folding table that I can use as a patio work table and if I live in an apartment I need a table that folds in half to to be of a usable size. but still out of the way when I'm not using it. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I would crash and leave in bad weather and this was one of the cheaper options. It's a little wobbly, but no worse than expected. The carry handle feels cheap but works well enough. The latch that holds it in place when folded seems secure, but it took a while to loosen enough to easily pick up with bare fingers. The legs close with clips but they are on opposite sides of the table and you have to press next to the clip to insert your leg. So if you have physical problems, it may be inconvenient to close them yourself. Sometimes something gets stuck or stuck when I close it and I have to reposition it, but I haven't figured out what yet. The surface is slightly rough, not enough to be uncomfortable but enough to make typing difficult. on a piece of paper directly on the tabletop. I knew the dark plastic would get hot in the summer sun, but I didn't realize how hot it would be until one afternoon when I had to grab a pair of gloves to fold it up. Since I left it out in some rain, consider pre-spraying with rust inhibitor in a humid environment. The shape of the underside of the table means that if it's folded up and propped against a wall/fence in the rain, water will collect inside and then you'll make a mess if you're not careful opening it. I can't fault the table for these small imperfections as it wasn't designed for this type of use, but I'm sure I'm not the only one this happens to.
