Review on Kamik Kids Toddler Little Charcoal Boys' Shoes for Outdoor by Troy Arnold

Revainrating 4 out of 5

High quality Kamik (but not easy to wear)

I've been buying Kamik boots for my kids for YEARS and have never been disappointed. It's just a great brand and one of the first things that comes to mind when someone asks for a good shoe recommendation. The only issue I have with these boots are the laces and hooks. Yes, they wear laceless boots, but the top doesn't open wide enough for my son to easily put them on without undoing the laces from the top hooks. So he has to untie the laces from the top two hooks on either side, put on the boots, and then hook the laces back in, making sure they cross over. The 11 year old boy it doesn't really matter for whom I bought it because he is always very careful with his things and is not the type to always be in a hurry. If it were my older child it would be a different story - I guarantee the connector at the top of the laces would break within days or the hooks would bend or break. (I'm not trying to be negative about my kid. I just know him. You know?) Conclusion: These boots are well made, like every other Kamik boot I've ever bought for my kids. But they're probably not the best choice for a kid who NEEDS basic slip-on boots or isn't patient enough to handle laces. Do you know?) Conclusion: These boots are well made, like all other Kamik boots, that I have ever bought for my children. But they're probably not the best choice for a child. who NEED plain shoes without laces or who are not patient enough to deal with laces. Do you know?) Conclusion: These boots are well made, like every other Kamik boot I've ever bought for my kids. But they're probably not the best choice for a kid who NEEDS basic slip-on boots or isn't patient enough to handle laces.
